Managing Partner

Tizoc serves as a Managing Partner at Guerra & Casillas LLP, where he leads the firm’s employment, personal injury, and workers’ compensation practices. He earned his undergraduate degree from George mason University and his Juris Doctor from the David A. Clarke School of Law.

Licensed to practice law in California (2016), the District of Columbia (2024), and Virginia (2025), Tizoc is dedicated to securing justice for individuals who have been wronged or injured. His approach to advocacy emphasizes preparation, precision, and consistent communication, ensuring that each client receives the attention and representation their case deserves.

Before co-founding Guerra & Casillas in 2019, Tizoc practiced at a large plaintiff litigation firm, where he saw firsthand how the demands of scale can limit the time and attention given to individual cases. That experience strengthened his commitment to a more personalized, hands-on approach that continues to define the firm’s philosophy today.

Outside of his legal practice, Tizoc enjoys hiking, traveling, exploring California, and playing chess.
